Nice little interview with gooseman but no hints on CS2 in it. I'm glad he's a serious left hander like me, I wont be left out in the cold with right handed models in CS2 :)

What worries me is that Ritual seems to be using elements from

the original Half-Life (muzzle flashes, animations), I`m sure you

noticed.

Hopefully they wont stick with them, but why did they have to go

back to HL and start working from there, instead of just

improving on what CS is now?

ive gotta say that i think its really racist to have the terrorists with turbans on. it would probably be less racist if they had a ct witha turban on. It's pretty much just marking turban wearing people as terrorists. that's why i ddint like americas army either.

I agree, one may mistake them for ninjas, thus giving ninjas a bad name and also enforcing that same stereotype that everyone wearing a turban is a terrorist.



I still don't think they should have added that veil to the SEAL team in 1.1, he looked like a pimp in 1.0 without it. Anyone else notice how lame he looks with it now?

I have that issue, it isn't bad. Doesn't really look liek CS, though. There are choppers flying around in a few screenshots and there are the Half-Life style tracer firing machine guns set up in one level they showed.. It looks more like OpFor with CS skins.

Well, the US Dollar is slipping, so the exhange rate is really low. It started doing that when the war against Iraq started. It's gone all the way to 1.45618 (That's how much one USD will get you in CAD). Yay.



I go to chapters often though, lots of gaming and guitar mags for me. Fun.

Wow, that game really doesn't look like CS at all. Nice to know the changed the classic skins and made them extra crappy for Xbox owners. I mean the models look better graphically but the old designs were better. It actually does remind me more of Opposing Force than Counter-Strike.
