The stupidest thing i ever did was re-bind my voicecom to "e" "Because it was close to the move keys and comfortable", then panic while the bomb was ticking away with out defusing it.... I spent weeks being c4 bait.... good timesComment

my voicecom is mouse4 (on a logitech dual opt. It's near the thumb)

Too bad when I played I was on a 166 mhz. Everyone was using USP and I asked "how can I buy an auto pistol?" They said, buy a USP. I bought one. I clicked like a madman. About 1/3 of the time the gun actually shot. My comp was too slow to shoot a USP or MP5 at full speed, thats how shitty it was.
I also remember calling the other team hackers for having my teams guns. Like, why do CTs have AK's? HACKERS!!!Comment

I've got you all beat. I play with the arrows keys instead of WASD, no joke. I have since the Betas. Also it wasn't until CS 1.5 that I figured out you could defuse without a kit. Everyone thought I was an idiot.
In case anyone was wondering: "Enter" is my jump key, "Ctrl" is my crouch key,"Numpad 0" is my voice comm key, and Right shift is my walk key. Pretty crazy, huh? I went to a lan and people laughed at me for playing like that, and then I promply owned them.Comment

To say something on topic. I don't know if I'm still a n00b. I dominate on lan's but on the net I tend to suck ass. That could b/c my ping is 150+ and my Fps is between 5 and 20. Once I got 38 :).
But in the olden days I used to spray at any distance, praying to get a lucky hs and I thought the para was the ultimate weapon, yelling PARA PARTY!!!!! and then charging into the tunnel in dust just to get knifed!
