CS:CZ on IGN

Valve needs to get more specific dates, its annoying that on every website with CS:CZ content, each has a totally different release date than the last. Hell i even heard it was out in October in one.

Those sites are mixing up the X-box version CZ release with the PC version. PC CZ is still scheduled for late May/early June...

you've heard it many times before... retail stores are second to last down the line of information regarding release dates. The consumer is generally the last to find out.



With that said, take any release dates you get from a store, online or otherwise, with a grain of salt. they really don't have any idea when it's going to show up until they get a shipping order that says to expect a bunch of them in a box on a certain day.

I can't wait to have this game in my hands and I hope June 2nd is right. That being because I have my graduation party on the 3rd and with that comes a lot of money.



Bots definately sounds useful but if they bots always have to learn the map then it's like your playing n00bs for the first few rounds everytime. That is unless you can adjust how well the bots know the level. Although bots will never beat online play it'll be nice when I'm having internet troubles for one reason or another.

I have a feeling that the more expierienced players will be able to breeze through this game really quickly. It's starting to sound like this game was made to teach noobs how to play. I could be wrong, but thats how its starting to look imho.



I'm really dissapointed they gave up on the "Tony Hawk" style of gameplay. That interested me because it meant I could play the game over and over in hopes of obtaining high scores (remember beating a level on one clip and things like that?).



Now its sounding just like another "beat the boss" at the end of the stage kinda game that gets beaten and then collects dust.

So true, but their main market are CT lovers, especially after 9/11, which is probably why counter-strike.net calls CS a "Counter-Terrorism Simulation" and not an "Infidel Wasting Fun Game"
