CS:CZ on IGN

IGN.com reports some interesting new information for CS:Condition Zero. To wit:

Condition Zero [adds] 20 offline, single-player missions. These missions will not necessarily be tied together into a single narrative, as in titles like Rainbow Six. Rather, the individual missions in Condition Zero will offer 20 self-contained narratives that aren't necessarily linked together with an overarching story. Still, there will be enough plot within each of the missions to bolster your involvement in the action.

An interesting way to structure the missions, to be sure. There's more information, some expected, some downright surprising. Take a gander! you should ignore the screens, by the way.

Well, looks like an enhanced version of what POD-bot tried to do, with some nice additions in the large scope of things.



What is gonna make or break this AI (imho), assuming that they indeed incorporated those main themes correctly, is how it handles simple movement and, more importantly, aiming. Even a bot at the highest level should impersonate a human that has to move a mouse to aim at the right place, and that movement takes a few fractions of a second, even if it's very quick.

I said mays last week because DoDs mod version was released ~ a week before teh retail, for cs 1.6 is teh mod, and cz r teh retail. or not.

I was under the impression that 1.7 would act as CZ but at this rate if that was true we would be waiting untill october, and half life 2 would be out soon afterwards. They have to get it out soon for people to buy otherwise people will just see how shit it looks compared to every other game there is. The CS community will want to buy it probally, but some guy looking threw games in a shop picks up CZ, then looks at U2, hl2, or doom 3, i think they'd rather pay for the other 3.

hey whats the real release date of CS:CZ, cuz at the amazon, they said oct 1, 2003, then some other selling site, said Pre-Release

ETA: 9/1/2003 on IGN selling stores, then on the main page at IGN where they did the preview for the game, said release date was June 2nd 2003, wierd isnt it! aha, someone please varify this and also when is E3 event?
