I was playing on 24/7 Militia Rated X yesterday and the little gay adminmod abusing bitch started to do the same thing. That and noclip. I was a CT - after the fourth round of me rushing into the house through the front windows and killing their afks and the rest of the team - i was 12-1 - the little whore kicks me because he doesn't like that I am good. How easy this Admin Mod problem is solved. Simply download The All Seeing Eye and filter Admin Mod servers out. Problem solved. I don't see what the big deal is. I've read all the mails sent, and frankly, they don't make sense.
Like this person said something about the WC3 mod being 'bad' for the community. How is this so? Classic CS gets boring after you've played Dust and rushed the same route for a billion times. I enjoy this mod and hope they add more stuff to it.
I don't see how Admin Mod hurt anybody like these guys are claiming it has. These people are talking about the most retarded admins I've ever imagined. What kind of servers do you join where an admin automatically unbinds everyones keys, and binds all of them to say something like ''I'M STUPID' ? And, TinkTank, its called votemap, and vote #playernumber. Sure, newbs might not know how to use it, but how did we do this in the BETA days? WE TOLD THEM HOW TO USE IT LIKE GOOD PLAYER SHOULD.
See, in BETAs there were about 50% less assholes then there are now. You know that fuck that cut you off on the interstate? He can go buy CS right now with little to no experiance, and, buy a server, and have it set up for him, so he can fuck with everyone. Not in the BETA days, you had to actually make an attempt to hunt down, download, install, and configure your CS.
The second anything goes mainstream you have assholes. Plain and simple. Because its more widespread and readily availible. Why do you think people get pissed when the next HL mod goes retail? (DOD anyone?) THINK.
Sure I am going off topic, but I think there is where the problem started, NOT with admin-mod, but with CS going mainstream. Every little nut-less jackass has access to this game, and can ruin it for us all.
And like mouth said, that is BULLSHIT to have to immediately expect to have to hunt down a server, or refresh 10,000 something server or more to weed out all the bad ones. TOTAL AND COMPLETE BULLSHIT.
And seriously, I get sick of these politically correct assholes who flame people just because I might let a "jew" or "Down's Syndrome" slip. Get real. Yes, I actively hunt down little halfling with Down's and kick them down stairs, and I burn people who belong to various ethnic groups at the stake.
Same goes for these racism not allowed servers, if its a JOKE its THAT. If the person is SERIOUS about it and make it CLEAR, THEN BAN HIM.

I can understand if its constant, much like this post, but the casual "fuck" or "wtf" is nothing... its comment, not a threat on your life. Your not going to hell, your just going to read it and remain in the same place you are at that moment. No one hired you to clense the masses.
I can bet you $20 you have cussed in some instance in your car. Why should you getting killed in a game where you WANT to excell be any different? You want to get to work, you want to kill the awper... you get hampered by some jackass, you vent. I don't see the difference really.
Now, the only and I mean ONLY plug-in, or server side mod I have EVER approved of was ATAC. For obvious reasons. Even then its BUILT INTO HALF-LIFE! "tk_punish" or some such. All these plug-ins, server-side mods, in my opinion, destroyed what half-life used to be, because like I said in my last post, if you can't trust them with rcon, then why give them the ability to slap the fuck out of us for no reason? Makes no damn sense what-so-ever.

Look guys ... if you don't like admin mod just go in a server who doen't have it installed... oh and by the way if yu don't like admins ... in the server respect the rules or just GO AWAY!!! Theres like 23000 of servers of counter-strike so don't tell me that you don't know a server which feed you needs... and if you can't find one just join mine!!

AdminmodS for serious servers (only has kick and ban, some other necessities) and AdminmodF for fun servers (chicken, slay, slap, fireworks, etc.)? There could be a little announcement on the connect screen like "This server is running AdminmodS. Serious players only, please." or "This server is running AdminmodF. Have fun, and watch out for the chickens!" This would give players the perfect opportunity to tell what type of server they are connecting to, because server names are usually incoherent or decieving.Comment

Rambozo take a hike, I am not on server to teach nublets every in and out of the game and neither are the regulars. If I can make it so any muppet can understand how to vote players off/ vote map then why is that a bad thing? So it didn't ship with original half-life, neither did CS whats your point? If you hate the current community and can't ignore it then leave, or find a server which you like and stay on it. Its pretty simple.Comment

nah there are hardly any servers that dont have admin mod these days.. with the statsme mods and such... im surpried whenever i DO see a server without a admin or mod or wut ever... but there are those annoying admins that are on the first day of the job and are like uber annoying... omg u think he hax well eat this... he sinks u into the ground like 7 times... and sometimes they go omg shut the hell up and he bans him when he was the best player... or they do something dumb that pisses me off like that gives them the advantage.... they either turn the gravity like up up up or down down down... they also like give themselves god mode so that they are impossible to kill and noclip which pisses me off...
well wut about u.. met any imature admins these days... there are few but the few make up for the many good ones...Comment

Lo all, i just had to say your comments about admins and admin-mod were totally unfair. I have run a server on and off for 2 years. The latest incarnation has become extremely popular and is now full pretty much 24/7. This took a lot of effort and time of my own. As such i do reserve the right to do whatever i want with lameass players who normally in my book consist of the ubiquitous TK'er (the most annoying lowest scum on the face of the earth) and cheaters. I also reserve the right to do absolutely anything i like to people who abuse me (FU etc etc etc) or my friends/clan-mates. Would you let someone into your home and let them proceed to abuse you and your family???
Having said that i always give someone the benefit of the doubt, just because a player says "Flash kick so and so", i always ask why and then observe for myself. I think you will find that 99% of admins are the same. They run the server to have a game with like minded people. Thats how you get return traffic. As such if they want an awp only server thats up to them (shudder).
Anyone can say what they like about the server, their connection is usually beyond my control, but if they complain round after round about lag, style of play, map i usually inform them that i'm sure they can find a server more to their taste.
As an admin my main bugbears are, TK'ers, map change requests (they saw the map when connecting didnt they?), players who moan about "cheaters" nearly every round (if the opposition is too good, watch and learn or find a rookie server), spawn campers (i usually take no action), abusers of me and my clan/friends, players who are better than me (JOKE, though from experience i know this can be a real problem on some servers, you cant be better than me, i better accuse you of cheating and kick you)

Well anyway admin mod is mabye not the greatest mode ever being made but when it is put into good hands it's not that bad. I run my server and it can help me 1) ban the tkers 2) ban the cheaters . True, true there's some stupid assh$/$/s but hey, not everyone is a (you know the word i just said it before). Anyway like i always said it before , there's like 23000 servers of Counter-strike so don't tell me you can't find one that suits you.
