Exactly, just because certain people abuse it doesn't make it a bad program.



I think it's also a good tool to lighten up CS in the right circumstances. If people are bored of running around the same damn maps, run a vote and then change it to assault with low grav shotties only. If only for 15 minutes, at least it's a nice change of pace.

Hey bout chicken MOD, i thikn it rules, ive been in servers where ntoihng fucks up, its so funny, being all small sneeking up on snipers and pecking them from behind and having a good laugh by making it into a fun game like everyone hunt the chicken, its great, on TFC its prolly better.

I was an admin on the CSR pub for over a year before it went to hell, and I still admin for their private to I'm a quite experienced admin. So yes, I agree that the purpose of admin powers is to keep the game cheater free. I have an old mantra: The best cheat-detection device is a good admin. Admins such as myself know the difference between a skilled player and a cheater, and honestly the number of people who can seems to wane now that so many 12 year olds have "da powah". hey everyone this is obviously my first time posting here but still heh admin mod is pretty fun and i think they still need to add something, or it might be added i just dont know the command. everyone tells me you admin_t or admin_ct to change the player to the other team, but that sure as hell wont work, so they need to add something that will work lol, but other than that damin mod is fun and i love kicking players that get annoying and slaying them every now and then;-)

all the admin-mod haters and the fuckzored hitboxes is making me consider removing meta-mod from my server. the only thing i would like to keep is the stats program. stats-me seems to attract players. is there a non meta-mod stats program available?



if you want to play cool small custom maps try my server out. i have a lot of speedball type maps; some with, some without objectives. with broad-band you can load most of these maps in a few min. FF is always on and all-talk is enabled on the deathmatch maps.



as a noob i lusted after admin powers and the assault rifles. now I'm all about the MP5 and being a lazy admin.

Thats funny shit... How many months passed before someone figured that server mods (not only metamod but ALL server mods) were bugged by the hitbox issue?



FYI: Will Day has already fixed the problem and a new versión (1.16) of metamod will be out in a short while.

I dont think counter strike is no longer a tactical game anymore. Most people on servers and lets be honest, dont plant the bomb, dont rescue the hostages. They just care about finding the enemy and killing him/her. They should give an option in cs where you can death match like in quake 3 or something. Where everyone can fight each other. That would be cool. Like a every man for himself.

This game blows when clan people come along and start calling everyone in the place n00b. Im a strong adovcate of anti-clan. I dont like clans, I dont care about clans. I dont care about CAL OGL or any leagues. This game should stay away from clan BS because the more people want be in clans the more chances of cheats.

We all know the majority of people who play cs want to be good and excel even if it means getting a cheat. Happened before and it will always happen until this game is finished.

i agree when i was n00b..i still play like one at times. but i hated it when admins would kick and ban for stupid reasons like "hes better than me" or "he killed me" or "im bored so here goes". it really pissed me off until i went to a server that had rules and *gasp* abided by them. they dont allow swearing..if you do. they get a warning or 2 then if dont abide get banned. now i swear myself but it doesnt kill me not being able to swear. they dont tolerate cheaters. (i mean who does) and when there is one they ban them. if they arent there some of us can get a hold of them and they come and ban them. its servers (with admins) like that keep me playing cS. my clan (4HM) just recently got our own server and we are trying to replicate that. its hard sometimes when you want to enjoy a game but you have to deal with smartasses or cheaters but it makes the gameplay overall better for everyone. well thats my 2 cents im out

Amen to that. I remember this one time, I was playing Aztec, and the admin was on the loosing team, so he starts turning our team into chickens and leaving his team to run around and shoot us. There was a repeat performance of this on another server while playing prodigy.



I've seen the same kind of behavior with making the team explode when the admin is loosing. It only gets worse when the entire team is admins.



In all fairness, there are good servers out there with responsible admins. I can't think of any from experience, the best server I ever played on went down about a year or two ago, and the best one I'd found since recently switched to natural selection.



I've also noticed that when the map gets changed by the admin, it's to a map that's generally overplayed. Why play the same maps over and over when there are maps in the game that don't get played enough? Maps that start with... as_.
