i liked signs. i actually thought it was pretty scary, in a sixth sense kind of way. most people complained that the movie ended right when it finally got started, but it wasnt really an alien movie as much as it was advertised

indeed, this movie isn't about aliens, it was about their family.

I don't see why buy scripts would be hacking...

If your smart, you'd use them so you can rush faster, you ppl are those newbs that take so long you have to camp by terrorist spawn on aztec cuz the CT's rushed.

              It's not hacking.

Oh, and by the way, rze all the way

I've always thought that buy scripts sounded like a great idea in theory, but then in practice I've found it very unsettling to be buying, for example, armour without touching either the "8" or "2" keys.

Also, the scripts' reluctance to close down the buy menu properly was a tad inconvenient. Comprende?

If you're going to start from someone else's work, you might as well make it easy for yourself. There are two popular script packages out there, that will do the entire setup for you and require no editing. Try out my aliases (CS Helper) or NextWish's.

                        Why my script is better:
» A more reliable menu closing scheme

                          » Automatic duck-jump

» VGUI: you don't need to bind stuff
                        Why his script is better:
                          » Radio aliases

                          » A Quick Knife Slash

» A more complex grenade alias
Otherwise, there is just a lot of over-lap. Both scripts do basically the same thing.

However, when it comes to certain aspects, my scripts are more hands off. For example, NextWish has it so you press and hold a button: your C4 comes out, you tell your team you're planting, and you plant (while automatically ducking, I believe). In my script, I only include a command for you to SELECT the C4. The planting is done by you, the call for backup is done via voice comm. His script has a nice grenade toggler. Mine lets you select the grenade, you throw it, you cycle through grenades, etc.

And this is all intentional. I did a NextWish-style pack before NextWish did his, and now I no longer maintain it. It's just not worth it to have an unreliable script do actions, like planting a bomb or throwing a grenade. Waits are arbitrary. Doing it myself, with the small help of a script, gives me so much more freedom.

So, it really depends what you're looking for. I call it RzE's CS Helper because it's just trying to make the game faster for you, take out some of the repetitive actions, while still giving you full control.

PS I'm not bashing NextWish at all. He's a good friend and his script is great.

Can't relate. Scripts have been very popular since the BETA 2 days of Lestat. I find it difficult to play without them at LANs.
Also, the scripts' reluctance to close down the buy menu properly was a tad inconvenient. Comprende?
This can be fixed. If you use my CS Helper just hold down the button for a little while. For NextWish's you'll have to add more wait's, I think. Both scripts rebind the jump key so you can use that to clear menus (with Helper, you can also use the duck key).

                        ---------------

The reason I felt like writing all of this is because I have updated RzE's CS Helper again. I'll release the update in a few days after I make sure everything works.

Scripts are allowed at lans? What about CPL? If you ask me, scripts at lans are cheap, cheap anywhere for that matter.

Some scripts are allowed at the CPL, they're based of RzE's thingy. People can also load up their own.

How so? I mean, why WOULD they be cheap? They aren't cheats, and you can use them, as well. So it doesn't create an uneven playing field...

No, the only aliases that players at the CPL can use are the ones based off of RzE's CS Helper. Monopoly.
