Here's a belated poll since I'm a moron and forgot to do it before I left on Mother's day! Apparently I have trouble following simple directions. Anyhow, this week's poll deals with the feature you're LEAST anticipating in version 1.6. Some people feel the Shield and Galil are too powerful for their price, while others think rewarding people for following such silly things as the objectives of the game with frags is naughty (those people play wrong).

It seems we're all expecting CS 1.6 to be out first. That's what I voted for too! I'd guess that result came from the fact that we've been playing the beta for months now and the others are simply screenshots or videos. Will we be correct? Only time will tell, my friends.

The bomb/defuse +3 thingie could be an arse, especially on publics. Then again, hey, perhaps people might actually work for the objectives now. Galil is too accurate, its like a souped up AK!

in 1.6 you cannot see how many ppl on the other team are dead it sucks big time because you have no clue how many ppl are dead so you do not if you are close to winning or not. that is the worst feature of 1.6. Also the frag for planting/defusing is terrible you get 3 frags if u plant the bomb and it goes off or 3 frags for defusing it. it means someone with ZERO skill luckily plants the bomb everytime and becomes #1 in the room! or the same person keeps defusing everytime cause thats not exactly hard.

As you can see I am not exactly happy about 1.6

I agree, the dead tag thing is the worst new feature.



But it can't be that hard to make a script that counts the deaths and does some simple math.



In fact, I think I saw a 1.6 script released on the oscf forums.

Why not? It's a feature some people aren't looking forward.



Those people's reasoning is fairly thin and won't convince anyone, but it's their opinion. As a clanner, neither scoreboard changes affect me, but "DEAD" missing will be very annoying in a pub.
