the thing i am most not looking forward to is the fact that i wont be able to play 1.5 anymore. right now i have an option of whether i want to get shot in the head through a shield thats supposed to stop bullets or not. when 1.6 goes final there will be no more refuge from the shield. now ill finally have to accept change and learn how to use these new weapons.

CSN ate my post. It basically just said that the shield, while completely worthless, doesn't hurt the game, just like the dual berettas don't hurt the game. The missing dead tags, however, screw up large pub play pretty badly at times.Comment

I dont think that the 3 frag xtra for planting/defusing is a source for "n00bs with no skillz" to get a good score.
It takes skills to defuse/plant, as most new players dont even know how to defuse and how 2 plant.
it`ll even take more skill to defuse, since you dont know how many of the terrorists who`s still alive and guarding the bomb, so the removed dead tag and 3 xtra frags walk hand in hand.
However, i`d wish they kept the *DEAD* tag though...
better start buying kits for the 3 xtra frags :)Comment

sure the hidden dead tags will be annoying.. so just pay more attention to the hud. As for the bomb/frag deal, why not give someone a reward for playing the game correctly. only bad point i can see is CTs murdering eachother to get defuse... or Ts for bomb. Meh pub players would tk for score. but come on, pub + tk = suxappended @ [time="1052981378"]
but its too bad the shield stops about as many bullets as my t-shirt wouldComment
