Fact is everyone wil have loss/choke on some servers, its not totally down to the server, but your isp and location etc too. Just because you get loss one one server host doesnt mean its bad, it just means its bad for you.

I like 4K gaming, great for me tbh. Only problem is that they are kinda expensive compared to others. However, the best ive used has to be eplanet servers. Very good prices, and excellent for everyone i know.

Basically with servers you get what you pay for. Go with Recon Gamer, expect a few lags, go with Game Daemons or GriffinRun (which are prolly overpriced because you could lease a car for the price of a 20 player pub) and you get better pings, and fewer timeouts.

any idiot with half a brain can buy some dedicated servers and re sell game servers in bulk. many are run by teenagers, i have dealth with them personally.

Here's the best host, yourself. A 3mbit connection doesn't cost too much and can easily run 32person servers.



All in all, maybe $60-70 month (CDN), and you have freedom to do whatever you please.

Alot of people do run co-located services and then sell them off, but it's not the same, most co-located packages don't give you enough bandwidth, the bandwidth wars is becoming also pretty pointless, any schmo can have an oc-192 it depends who you get your bandwidth from, if you're sharing bandwidth it's not going to matter, it's like alot of cable companies. And now that many companies are coming out (Edgegamer etc etc) it's more of price battle, and reliablility. Gamedaemons and GriffinRun are giving anyone anything new but they are charging 3x the price the normal market, and no offense i don't think the customers are that stupid they are going to notice it sooner or later, since the GD service has been lacking alot lately... anyways that's the my nickel and two dimes.

I'm curious, how many servers have you set up under this system? You seem to be against every server company in existence and, hilariously enough, I have a feeling you have no experience with anything.

Rizzuh erm a descent co-located box depending on what your running, say a beefy Dual Xeno 2.4 with abotu a gig of ram can run maybe 3 Battlefield 1942 servers, and it runs about 800 dollars with a 1 Mbps up/down line. People don't understand how expensive it is to run one of these companies. And if a company says "Your the only person on the server" when your recieving lag spikes it's either a penitum 200 they got from a flea market or they got more 6 on the box X_X
