no offense but aren't Dual 2.4 GHz kinda out of date? I know the new computer I got about 2 months ago is 3.06GHz and I believe the 3.2Ghz are coming out within a week or so.

I've always been a big fan of the companies that support CSN and Rizzuh so as long as these guys provide quality hosting and are honest, something EdgeGamers post proves (yes most of us all know no company has an OC-192 or OC-256).

Anyway I guess my point is people like Paladin don't get that if his company wasn't so cheap, low-classly and pathetic and actually spent the few $ to advertise on CSN instead of being an asshole to all the CSN supporters they would have more customers.

So a word to the wise, support the following server companies:

    Edgegamers

    Griffinrun

    Artofwarcentral

    Phxx

    Game Extreme
Yes, the 2.4's are a little old. That shouldn't matter if you don't stack more than 6 servers on a box. We also just purchased some new dual Athlon MP 2400+ systems which will be ready in a few days.

If your guarantee was for "the lowest price AND the best level of service OR (insert terms of guarantee here)", it would be different, but I've already proven that wrong because you charge more than other companies out there. The fact that someone uses the word "guarantee" in this sense and simply overlooks the fact that the guarantee is worthless as it's worded ("no, no speaker, that's a guarantee on the lowest pricing for the top level of service... ie. has no measurement basis") offends me and takes advantage of those in this community who don't bother to read it and think about what they read. Maybe that's their stupid fault, but people getting ripped off isn't right and I enjoy going after the companies that do it.
Wrong. "They guarantee the lowest pricing for the top level of service" That clearly states that for the level of service the customer will be receiving, you won't find pricing any cheaper.

Now what if you receive a voice mail when calling a company. You will have to wait just as long for he/she to respond back. During our normal operating period 9:00AM-10PM, we will answer emails as soon as we receive them. Of course response times will suffer after that time period.

How are you going to tell me how to run a business? That is not only ignorant, but also rude. How can you also say we are in this business to rip people off? Honestly, which game server company do you own wink wink? In one of my previous posts, I wrote "I'm done arguing with you. This conversation is over." That was meant for you.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks for the lively debate though. :)

No problem at all. Just a quick question, what have I been accused of? Advertising low prices? Yet it's OK for csadmins.com, which you highly regard, to advertise false network connections? Seeing how the uneducated customer has no way to tell if they really have those connections or not, I think their offense is worse than us advertising low pricing.

PS: Sorry for bringing up csadmins, but I needed to prove my point.

        Thanks,

        Dan

Hello I am Jeff Fogel from CSadmins, co-owner and founder of CSadmins. I don't appretiate our name being brought up in such a debate about who is better then who. I have nothing agaist Edgegamer and wish them the best luck in the business that they are trying to do. We have been around for just a little over 2 years now and I think our company has done quite well infact. I do want to point out 1 thing though, we do host all game servers on mutiple OC-192's and OC-48 connections through many providers mainly such as Verio, QWest, Time Warner and more. I am not here to advertise myself since it is not my tread but had to post because people try bring the CSadmins name into the dirt since CSadmins has nothing to do with any of this tread.

I appretiate the support of Speaker for our game servers but Edgegamer needs the support as well. I can remember when we started out and this is how things started. Hang in there Edge it gets better.

Well, a few days ago, our WHOLE site got deleted. My ignorance caused me not to make backups of ANYTHING. We are working on an awesome new template for this site and it should be ready in a couple of weeks. I got our forums up which are located at http://www.vugaming.com/forum so please populate them as much as possible. If you think a new category/topic should be added to the forum, please don't hesitate to email me at ViperUltimateGaming@cox.net or instant message me via AIM at VUGaming. I will be posting all the latest news and updates that are occuring out in the world soon.
ummmm Dooooh. Yeah I might host with this fool.
                    Confusion

There has been some confusion with our company. Please read:

VUGaming Networks has been having a lot of problems. Some of the problems pertain to our web site, servers, etc... We at VUGaming Networks are working very hard to get our new template done on this site and improve and increase the performance/availability of our servers.

We are very unorganized and are working hard to get organized. We have awesome technical support and all of the customers that we have/had are very pleased. In a couple of years, VUGaming Networks will most likely be one of the biggest gaming providers. So in conclusion, please let the gaming community know that VUGaming Networks is an awesome gaming organization that will soon change the gaming community drastically.

                    Thank you,

                    Nathan Dodd

                    VUGaming Networks Owner
ROFL I'm sure Griffinrun, XGS and Artofwarcentral are reallllllllly scared of this moron.

LOL, Jeff you just don't get it. YOU DON'T HAVE AN OC-192 or OC-48. No one trusts a company that lies about the specs of their machines and the speed of their connection, probably explains why you were so desperate to make a post here.

Wait correction, didn't Rizzuh say he had an OC-192 to his clubhouse. :)

Cool as long as the servers are reliable and aren't overloaded like what Gamedaemons has been doing the last few months, my clan has had to host 2 matches we weren't suppose to host in recent months cause the "home" team had a laggy overloaded Gamedaemons server.

Look, nothing against you. I'm sure you are trying damn hard to make it work. But the "users" out there have been on the other end.

Server is having problems or just not running. Send an e-mail, no response, send another e-mail, no response. Without a definate way to get in touch, service suffers and the clients feel unwanted or neglected.

/me takes off the "nice guy" gloves.

Now, if your guarantee included "response to server problems within a half hour or your next month is free" it might be different, but I hear promises and guarantees and nothing put in definite terms of the business world.

If your guarantee was for "the lowest price AND the best level of service OR (insert terms of guarantee here)", it would be different, but I've already proven that wrong because you charge more than other companies out there. You want to be a real business and get my clan and other clans' server contracts? Then have the lowest price and guarantee it in defined terms. Give us named people we can discuss problems with. Otherwise the guarantee part should be removed from your advertisements because you're not going to guarantee anything and probably are thinking "no, we'll send their money back if they have problems with us... guaranteed hahah w/e" And if you don't... who do we call? Where do we find you? Where do we send the Better Business Bureau to to make you live up to your guarantee you've already failed at so your customers all get their money back? Have the their attorneys e-mail support@edgegamer.com?

                      But you know this already.

Good luck with your venture. I hope you decide to go into business someday too.
Its called advertising puff and is avalid in certain circumstances,. Im unsure as to how the law treats such statements in the USA, but Im sure surious claims are allwoable with the usual caveats. If u belive his ad is breaching trading standards, then by all means litigate, if not, Whinging here, where most people cant even understand the flow of mature posting, (Nighthawks highlighting of the rarity evidences this) nwill not achieve much. TBH you are all capitalistic scum looking to make a fast buck out of the poor workers! UP TE REVOLOUTION :P (thats a joke by the way)

Oh ya I forgot Crankerdevil, you are the all mighty who knows everything. lol personally you know nothing about CSadmins and you never will. It so simple to find out if someone is on a OC-192 or not and you obviously never checked. I just think you like throwing words around to make yourself feel better. Personally I could care less if you think we host on OC-192's or not.

Debate what ever you want CSadmins will be here after your gone Crankerdevil so I have no worries.

If someone is connected to the Internet, chances are that an OC-192 is routing their data some where along the way. That's what Internet backbones do.

No server company in the world comes close to using any significant portion of any Internet backbone. Saying you're connected to an OC-192 is a lot like saying you have 100 megabit network cards. That might be true, but I doubt you even have 100 megabits of bandwidth or anything close to that and your page cites an OC-192. Is that not misleading?

I agree with you rizzuh, we don't use the 100mbps at any given time, but all datacenters we are linked too are OC-192 connections running into them. Some have mutiple carriers running into them. So in actuality we are on OC-192 lines no doubt. We are on a 100mbps burstable line which if in any case needed 100mbps we could supply it to our game servers. Now reality there is no possable way a game server is going to use a 100mbps but all we are saying is we have no DC3, OC12 ect ect running into our datacenters, there are all OC48 and OC192 which is stated on our site so it isn't missleading by any means. I can shoot you our datacenter phone number if anyone would like to speak with them, email me at flawless@csadmins.com and find out what connections they run into there datacenters.
