    Public Opinion: TFG

Counter-Hack has finally updated its Public Opinion feature. This time they chat with The_Family_God, who is best known as the brains behind the films Militia1 and Militia2. If you're unsure what Public Opinion is, well, Counter-Hack takes a prominent member of the CS community and asks them a few questions about what their views are on hacking. The basic 10 question format is used once again, but here's a clip to get your juices running.
    7) What's your opinion on cheaters in CS as well as all other multiplayer games?

I really don't understand it. Whenever I think of cheaters I can't help but smile, because I consider them more of a joke rather than something worth thinking about. I'll be honest, I don't play much counter-strike nowadays - and that is probably why I am not "angry" with them. But I certainly remember how frustrating things got while I was a serious player. It's not really the cheat "users" that humor me, but those guys who make them. When a hacker breaks into some high-tech government website or something like that, I have this odd respect for a guy who can carry out a stunt like that. But hacking a videogame? Man...get a life.
Whew, what a long one that was. Grab more of that here. It's more filling than those new Hardee's burgers. Really.

Counter-Hack sure updates alot considering it's a site dedicated to something that is no longer big enough to warrant a site dedicated to it.

You have to start somewhere.. Same argument could be used for CS, if in fact there was any proof that the cheat makers were going to extend further what they hacked.

Exactly, that's why his comment was pointless & unnecessary

I recommend you read the interview they had with [myg0t]g0d on the same topic, its bloody hilarious!!

p.s. If you didn't know [myg0t] is a hacking clan, who specialise in being llamas (apologies to those who did know)

Hey maxmime, heh good point and funny too -- what I'm actually referring to with "get a life" is the fact that hacking gives a few people an advantage while ruining the gaming experience for the majority of people. It's the motive behind the hacking that warrants my comment. My movies, as far as I know, do not have the same affect.

I wanna see hacking CAL where cheaters face off against each other and the ppl with the most 1337 hacks always win.

THis is completly off topic but i need some help/advice

Everytime i try to join a server i get the error message:

Server is enforcing the consistancy of models/p_ump45.mdl

What is its problem and how can i fix it?

To be honest, I tried hacking for about a week or so in the past month. I totally agree that it is *almost* impossible to stop. You get a kill every 5 seconds, and a flame every 2 seconds. When good cheats were detected, I stopped hacking. But people started accusing me of cheating when I was *too* good. So I thought 'pfft, what's the point of stopping?'

Try to stay on topic... But the p_ump.mdl is enforced by servers, meaning you cannot have a custom p_ump.mdl. However you can have the v_upm.mdl and I think thw w_ump.mdl. The solution is to replace your p_ump.mdl with the original in CS.

TFG is a fantastic director. His stuff is probably the best serious machinma I've ever seen. It's also the only one I've ever participated in

I think he'd be great at making a humorous CS machinma, something along the lines of Red vs. Blue.
