A random newbie will write...The barrel of a gun is longer with a silencer, however, due to the fact that the silencer physically supresses the bullet, it adds randomness to the bullet's path - the definition of inaccuracy.

If he wanted to compare video game guns to their real life counterparts, he should have compared Rainbow Six: Raven Shield to real life. Now in that relationship there are some interesting oddities, if you go into enough detail, which this author did not.
