I dunno, but I have forgotten/lost any care for cs:cz, because its been so damn long, anyway is it also multiplayer? because if its one player, thats pretty damn lonely and gaaaay.

Where is gooseman nowadays? is he still helping working on counter-strike? Or is it all vivendi/sierra/valve/whateverstupidfukkencompany working/cashin' in on this good ol' "MOD"?

yeah... I'll just stick to 1.6 or even 1.5, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. this is laaaame

Acutally spoonman, I'd say there are lots of people who put up with steam and don't bitch to the internet about it. I just wanna see valve fall after all the bs, I have no respect left. I still wanna really play HL2, assuming it exist...Did you guys see the article on www.wired.com vavle won 2 awards for vapor ware, TF2 and HL2.

Yeah, Valve won 'Vapourware of the Year' or somesuch for Half-Life 2, which is totally retarded when you think about it. It's currently only about 3 & 1/2 months since the initial release date and it hasn't even been announced for a year, yet.

There are literally dozens of games which are delayed more than that! (CS:CZ and TF2 for example...)

Well, i think everything making a game is not the quality of graphics. For example, the most exciting sports game for me is "Goal!" in Amiga, the most exicing DM is "Quake 2"; even there exists much much more relistic graphical ones nowadays. Graphics provide reality and reality, feeling the athmosphere provides excitement for games like maybe "Call of Duty" etc. But this does not work in all cases and is not a general rule.

So I say, a game using an old graphics engine does not mean it's not worth its price. You have enough fun playing it, then buy it. However, on the other hand, lets imagine what they will give us for 30$ cash:

Same game, more intelligent bots, mostly the same maps, better map textures (nothing but more fps drops that will srew the game). Note that, CS is for free; some "less intelligent" bots for CS are also free and you will be able to get CZ by paying 30$ (or maybe more). Does it worth that? For me, the answer is a huge "NO!". What they sell is not a new game, just the bots and map textures.

I think they have delayed this game too often to release it. It's probably the game that noone dares release. The game just can't live up to the build up that has been going on for the past 2 years.

I think that they probably would have released it if HL2 code had not been stolen but as it has, and they had released it ....and it then flopped ...then that might have had a negative impact on HL2 sales. Better to keep up the suspense for HL2 than release a dud CS game, three months before eh?

The players guide is already available in stores. You think they'd release the game too, eh?
