CS 1.6B Update

I have met the "fixed" bug from early 1.6 beta testing. Guess which one? :) The one where the game locks up right after you join a server, that's the one! 3 times out of 3 successful joins have this happened to me. I guess I'll have to try it tomorrow again.

Seriously? Is there no other way to make it LAN only? I cant unplug my calbe (woulnd anyway) as we have wireless LAN!

Its good to see that Aztec and Inferno are being updated but if only other maps got the lime light they so dearly need. Like Assault, Dust (1 and 2), if only they got updated for 1.6, or 1.7 if there ever will be.

this is crap i say CRAP i have been sitting here for fakking 11 hours now and still my 1.6 freezes....(kinda nerdish) :P

I played with the new bots for quite a while. I wouldn't say that the bots suck, they are just really buggy and cheezy. Like I was playing aztec, and there are a few concrete walls they would shoot through. I also jumped off the bridge, and I was killed in the air with a headshot. But, overall, it's better than those other ones. And the shield, still needs a lot of work, I still get headshot through the shield, and I'm crouching. The new knife model sucks, the old famas sound is better, the galil sound is ok. The new text, YYYUUUKKK!!! It's so ugly and almost made me blind. Didn't feel like counter-strike at all. Overall, this update wasn't very impressive.

GO TO network connections, and disable it.

oo anoher hundred odd posts since i got it wokring, *smug grin*

I changed my steam account, i dunno if that helped any of u I had said it earlier, but apparently few of u have trwaled thjrough ALL of the comments.

But invariably, Reinstall, Restart, keep retrying, I personally think reinstall is just a placebo to make people be patient enough to wait for the point in 'destiny' that the uber server god will deem them able to have the connectivity required to dl the holy grail of beta 1.6b

And as usual maek sure all anti virus, and other process non essential are not working whilst doing yoru install, speeds up the process. I even turned my firewall off for top get aless interrupted flow form the steam thingy, well i say thats WHY i did it, only in my laymans terms, but its worked for me.
