New Knife Info

I don't like the new knife cause I prefer knifes pointed down. I'm not complaining thought, I just replace it with my old knife.

Did anyone ever notice that they also redone the scout sound??? It has more punch to it, which makes it sound very powerful. I love the new scout sound, too bad they didn't post that in the changelog. Oh, and I've been having this problem. Any server with amx stats, is it just me or is the server stats text hella bigger(the one that shows up on your screen)???? Can't see a damn thing.

Good job trying to string together a coherent response, however you're mistaken. A beta test is used by developers to test a product before it's mass release. Usually, beta testers (I stress testers because very few of the people here are actually testing. Most are just greedy and want 1.6 now and complain when something's wrong or not to their tastes) reports bugs, crashes, methods of reproducing a crash or bug, and major errors and goof-ups. The purpose of a beta is not to complain about text or a knife model. That's cosmetic, you'll get used to it.



So what if the text is harder to read now than before? You'll get used to it, and it's not that bad. Relax off of VALVe, sure the Steam updates are always choppy seas, and so was the original release of the beta. However, if that were not the beta, all of you would be howling for blood over how much Steam is unsatisfactory. This is the purpose of a beta, to stress test, tweak test, and play test. Not to listen to jack-offs complain about text and a knife model.



In short, keep it to yourself. If your that passionate about the new changes being complete and utter horse-shit, then quit CS and go play DoD or another game perhaps. Don't whine about how much something new sucks, if you think it sucks, Don't play it. Nobody here is forcing any of you to:

Hope they fix the text problem... I'm pretty sure that they can implement an option to modify the messages size... or even better a config file.

there is banners for gamehelper.com in dust2, no body really notices it, and i don't see why theres a banner at all.

Anyone else noticed that when playing at 800*600 the great new scalable text fonts transform into unreadable pixel hieroglyphs? Oh and the knife is OK for me... it looks a little too fancy-cool-killer-like, but the original one looks like a (over-sized and way too dangerous) kitchen knife.

the model of the knife is great, but the skin is ugly. The new sound of the scout is pretty good!! i don't know why they posted thoses news about the new knife, they seem to justify themselves for the new knife, dammit i dont care if it is a corrosion resistant knife
