nah a exploring cd cant harm you if its in your cdrom. and yes its been tested. Also its happened to quite a bit of people without any injury.

Granted, publishers won't find everything, but they'll more in likely spot some glaring bugs that may require immediate attention. Say if one of the bugs causes the cd to spin so fast it blows out the front computer housing and severs a few arteries.Comment

Here's where Steam is a blessing and a curse.
A blessing, because any bugs that crop up can be instantly fixed, no need for patch releases.
A curse, because, well, as consumers, it means that they may be a little less likely to fix a bug or two thinking that they can always fix it later - or, at least, overconfident in their ability to deal with that which might come up.Comment

"it appears while shipping the game to VU it was strangely lost.. It will take us approx. 6 months to replace what was lost because for safety from hackers we deleted most of HL2 from our computers thankyou for your understanding. PS.
