My friend made a hack for CS 1.3 and VAC still hasn't detected it.
Of course he updates it once in a while for better aimbots and hs etc etc.Comment

Ravenium, meta cheat is built in vb .net (Personally i don't like .net's interface and the changes to vb, vb6 suits me well) for its rit compiler (or whatever) meaning when the program is run it is placed in a random memory location everytime. This is what makes it usefull. In till someone finds a glitch in j00lz code this cheat will be undectectable (or offcourse you have ties with microsoft).Comment

yes, I'm full of shit. The fact is my friend made a hack during CS 1.3 and it is still undetected by VAC and thats because he didnt send it to ANYONE, even me and I know him personaly. He's very good at coding and stuff. think bullshit all you want cause valve cant stop a cheat even if it was right in front of there eyes.Comment

The point is reducing the size of the cheating population, so we see them less often. Not all cheaters stay up-to-date, and those that slouch get whacked. That's reduced the amount of cheating greatly already -- do you not remember the pre-VAC CS1.3 days?

New VAC Module
Update @ 1:15 PDT: VALVe has received reports of "problems with the security modules," so they've been reverted.
A fairly major update to VAC (VALVe anti-cheat) has been released on the eve of Counter-Strike's four year birthday. VALVe has taken steps to eliminate false positives based on hardware/memory errors. Here's the full info from Eric Smith:The updated security modules have several new cheat detections and a change in our banning policy. When the security modules detect a possible RAM/hardware error on the client's machine, the client will be dropped from the server and will see a message about "memory corruption". The client will NOT be banned from secure servers by VAC. They will only be dropped from the server they were playing on.
VAC updates that don't break things are always good news! Servers will download the new module--which is for both CS and DoD--automatically.
This change only applies to possible RAM/hardware errors. We will still be banning clients for more serious cheat detections.Comment

VALVe has released another update to its anti-cheat, commonly known as VAC. This latest module contains "several new cheat detections." For reasons of secrecy, of course, VALVe can't tell us exactly what the new detections are. Let's hope they create a lot of trouble for cheaters, though. As always, the VAC module will be updated automatically if you run a CS or DoD server.
