VAC hasn't stopped amazing me.



I wasn't a believer until about the time that article was published. I'm absolutely stunned they've lasted this long, and I hope VALVe keeps it up. Atleast half as persistent as they have been.

There'll be another 10 new cheats released tomorrow, but still hopefully a few people got caught out and are banned. Now just stop sending out your warning messages to the cheaters Valve. At least delay the email for 12-24 hours after the update?



Just checked cheater site. 12 cheats still working, but most just tweaks of 3 main cheats. Sort it out Valve.

i saw like 5 players get "banned for past cheating violations" on my server yesterday. and those are just the ones i happened to see while watching the server console. VAC was going off on tH3 Ch34t0Rz! i am surprised at the number of "cheaters" VAC detected. i guess a lot of people cheat but still suck so you don't suspect/notice them. or it could be a lot of false positives. i am glad to see the $40 i spent on Half-Life 4 years ago is still hard at work.

Well, it's a lovely update for now...unfortunately, Valve only puts these out every 3 weeks, whereas cheat sites update in the next 2-3 days. I'd like to see them update more often before they can be as credible as certain 3rd party anticheats

have fun with meta cheat valve. btw LTFX 4.5 was undected for like 4 or more months while vac releases were being put out. Finally its undectected. To bad 4.6 is already vac proofed and released. Vac has already lost the battle the system is updated way to slow and is less effective the CD, which doesnt do shit all but update and then get hacked again. While there are determined hackers (j00lz, LTFX guy) there will always be cheats intill then all you nubs keep on calling hax on everybody that owns u.

That would be a great theory, until you count on the fact that all joolz can do is steal code from others to make his stuff. Plus, C-D has blocked all his stuff for the longest time. Yay UA. Everything is breakable, it's only a matter of time and determination. The trick is keeping up to date, which is what C-D does where VAC fails.

j00lz just strives to be the best, I remeber a time where some up and coming anti-cheat\cheat information network was being created, thats the only time I have known the j00lz was part of a "anti-cheat" group. Metacheat has been in the works for awhile know, with it knew anti cheat method that i doubt valve or even CD can stop (it uses vb .net's random memory placement of whatever so it's basically impossible to track) unless they have ties with microsoft (which valve probably does seeing csx and hl2 for the xbox). My friend knows j00ls well [JAPS]Jessen (no im not affiliated with JAPS, jessen really is my real life friend i goto school w/ him, and he always talks about his NS hack and how he has 500 downloads). Supposably j00lz is just some big pompus asshole that's like any cal-m player you know (calls everyone a nub etc.) so i doubt he would be w/ any anti cheat staff. (well i personally doubt that cause i wouldn't want to work with some arogant nerd :) Anyways gl to valve and cd.
