The NS development team takes cheats and hacks very seriously. NS v2.01 will have full VALVe Anti-Cheat (VAC) and Cheating Death support, to combat hacks.

v 2.01 was released September 19th but still no VAC, I guess Valve is busy with other things. I wonder what they could be? 8vD

edit: I want Ricochet to be VAC supported! I can't join a d@^% Ricochet server without being hacked by some newb. 8vD

i agree, its easier for cheat coders if valve announces when they release new detections so the cheat coders can just look up what valve did and get around it that easy

p.s btw when i killed a dude throw wall with awp (headshot) I thought VAC would kick me YAY it didnt ;Ppp

Uhhh.... Vac scans your machine in certain ways to look for cheats on your system, not banning you because you got a bs wall. VAC isn't an admin thus it has no eyes or ears.

most hacks edit the .dll for cs, to allow seeing through walls and such, VAC looks through that .dll for any changes, < im pretty sure thats it. so no need to worry if you get a complete luck shot through a wall :p
