ok CAL, if you they make me pay 1 freaking penny to them. I will remove myself and my clan from it. I refuse to play a League to let me play it in... That is so pointless... I feel sorry for all the gamers who want to play in CAL, but don't have money to be able to if they do this. I think it is BS... Counter-Strike is a free game, there should be no charging to play in a League. I can see for like a LAN tournament in CAL you pay for that, but per season, fuck you CAL!!!... I will never do that... Stupid World and its Capalist ways, its bullshit if it games into CS Leagues... Lets become Russia Commies haha.

If you would research you're facts you would see AMD beats Intel in benchmarks and is higher on the 64bit table. AMD processors are more stable, reliable and faster. But the fact that you're a moron (see the COL news post for this) contributes to the fact that noone will ever listen to you.



Oh and one more thing. AMD is better then intel and the best part about it. They are cheaper too. Moron.

Come on people... both processor are great. I take my processor to the level\use of Laptops. Here is a little thing. the AMD 64 mobilty trick you into getting it, and their awsome I will say. But you have to get a cool pad, something to keep it getting air to it. Will overheat really fast and go down to like 797Mhz then to 375Mhz... Ouch for us gamers. And video cards they are coming with, good enough. Ok Intel, doesn't over heat, better video cards, but cost more for the power. It really depends you want the latest and greatest techno, go with AMD. Want something that will last and work for a good time, Intel or AMD... Both are great... The END!

Amd and Pentium are both great, but amd is cheaper and as good or better especially for games, so i pick amd.

The AMD 64's can handle up to 90C before overheating. In which they will automaticly restart or turn you're computer off. Btw I believe 90C is about 250 F. Degrees that is.



Intel is more expensive and their benchmarks are lower then AMD's So overall you want AMD for the better processor and it will save you money.



Both are great? Nah Intel is good. AMD is Great. Bottom line....AMD is the best all around processor. 2-3 cooling fans in you're computer. (one exhaust, one intake and one near the processor to cool it) is all you need. Playing FarCry and Doom3 on highest quality the AMD only heats up to about 60C. Which is pretty normal temp when playing a graphic/CPU intensive game.



My new computer is on it's way. Thermal take case (7 cooling fans) Amd64 2800+ and a Asus K8V Motherboard. I've talked to people who own the Termal take and AMD 64's. With that # of fans the processor stays extremely cool and the fans are ultra quiet. Btw the thermal take case has 2 fans on the side where the window is. Two in front, two in back and one on top. That does not count the stadard processor fan with heatsink and the PSU fan.



Overall. AMD = best and cheaper then Intel *GAMERS CHOICE*



http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/sh...px?i=2149&p=7 thats my proof. Benchmarks in DOOM3 AMD 64 compared to Intel. I was surprised. The processor I am getting performs just like a $1,000 Intel CPU. so basicly AMD 64 totaly destroy Intel in gaming.



Of course these are benchmarks with the best card on teh market right now..well I would say a tie with ATI's x800. The Nvidia 6800 Ultra ties the x800. But judging from these benchmarks. Even a lower end video card the Athlon 64 will still beat Intel with the same video card.

I can't see 1.6 / cz ending.. hell they still have team deathmatch servers running with bots and crazy levels. So I have no fear that "OG" cs that the masses have grown to love and refine over the yrs dissapearing.. just a new branch of the cs family tree has begun to bloom. Its a good thing.. it promotes progressiveness. Look @ skateboarding in the 50's/60's steel wheels.. 70's urathane and fiberglass, the 80's whale tails and rails, 90's slimer lines and more tech, 2k - teens.. still to be seen.. its all progression and it all evolves. its is all good.



But then again ... I also thought that cz was the new hottness when it came out too.

The Source Aztec is too dark, d2 and office are too bright. I'll stick with 1.6.
