I'm happy to have just a 70ms ping, usually I'm playing around 110-150ms (on DSL). People get spoiled by playing on servers they ping well on and seem to choke when the latency is less than favorable.

people pay more for low ping (broadband) and they expect to get a good ping (20-30ms) for their money.
