omg my dog chewed on my wires to my nice sony headset so now if I try to use it I lose sound on the left ear (BAD). So now I have to use speakers to play and put the headset on my neck and just use the mic if I want to be able to shout random insults at my preteen teammates.

I was on the market for new headphones cause my Audio .90's crapped out on Thursday. I remembered rizzuh's review of the CS DSP-500, but they're only available through the Plantronics website for $110.00. Screw that when I could buy a non-CS set for $59 at Amazon. I wish Amazon carried the CS-branded set, though. *HINT HINT AMAZON/PLANTRONICS*

fully enclosed cheap brand headphones. they work really nicely but i cant be bothered unplugging and plugging in my speakers everytime i wanna play CS, i dont have a mic but it doesnt matter coz no one listens on pubs anyway.

What the hell? We always have let the dog in the house. Only problems we've had is when she was just a few weeks old andwe hadn't finished house-breaking her.... that was a bit of a messy time. But apart from that there is no reason not to let your dog indoors. Anyone who kicks their dog out and doesn't let it inside is being mean.

I use a cheap RS headset that I tested the mic on before buying. Mic sounds good - clear - only cost $15. I was doing the aforementioned "puffycloud method" with some nice Sony headphones and an old 90 headset.



I've noticed that actually listening to what is happening in the game and reacting to sounds get me accused of wallhacking a lot. I should play without sound and then I wouldn't get accused of hacking.

You should buy a switcher for headset-to-speakers. Press the button on top to switch, both stay plugged in all the time. Costs about $15 at RS.

Anyone else use HEAROS In-Ear Speakers?



They are, without a doubt the best headphones I've owned... Small but perfectly formed, imagine an olsen twin in each ear, and you're half way there. Short of those noise canceling Bose headsets, they are the best money can buy.

I hate those in-ear things personally. They always get lost/break in the first hour of using them. And I hate those headphones where the strap/band thingy goes around your ear and then round the back of your neck instead of just top of yer head. They look stupid. Plus they feel weird. And when I've got 3-year-old Evanescence tracks blaring out at full volume, I like to go the full length and look like a total muppet with two huge bricks on either ear and a 12" thick strap on the top of me head. Bah, I'm a bitter sod.
