          you might want to edit the "client" bit, like the guy above, some are going to get excited thinking that they will be able to play cs on linux, when its jsut a linux steam server...



          linux client would be phat tho. w/ cs, I would pretty much be able to go linux only at home....

                actually d00ds HLDS runs better on its native platform, win32/NT.



                but with the ping booster mod on linux there is a significant boost.

                    Nah, it's correct, I just misinterpreted it at first. It's the Steam client for Linux, which you use to download HLDS for Linux. I was just curious if anyone else screwed that up like me at first, and I guess my question has been answered :).
