Vac can only recognize so much...
Yes but as long as VAC keeps on recognizing so much, there is less room to create new methods of cheats that are undetected by it. VAC will continue to keep downsizing the cheating community, one little asshat at a time :-)

p.s Off Topic: Did anyone see the Half-Life speedrun ? pretty awesome huh ?!??!

    Peace Out =]

Even if they don't get them all, we should give them due credit for cutting out the most of them. They've been doing more in the last few months under the Steam system than I ever saw them do under the WON system

Man, how do these people think they can get away with cheating when Valve updates practically every week?!?

weird, just this evening some guy came into a server that i play at during aztec and hacked bigtime. Auto aim, speedhack or whatever- he made it to our spawn just as we were leaving it and annihilated us all. Admin banned him after 3 rounds of his crap.
I think you're exaggerating. I've tried speedhack before with friends. It goes about twice as fast as normal speed, and you can't continuously do it or you'll freeze for a couple seconds. You can only do it for about a full second before you freeze, and aztec has pretty good distance between spawns. For him to get there just as you were leaving, would be extremely difficult (not to mention he wouldn't be able to go fast enough and he'd freeze), considering how fast he'd have to go and how many corners you have to turn to get from spawn to spawn in aztec, and at that speed, I doubt he'd make it.

But that's alright we all know cheaters exist, don't need to make up stories to make them sound like gods.

Because cheats are updated almost daily, while VAC updates are usually weekly. A couple weeks ago, VAC was doing very well it seemed, with I think 8 updates a week, many Pacific teams I usually play against (who I've never seen at tournaments) did pretty crappy that week.

Make up stories? your an idiot.

Unlike you, I've never used hacks, So I don't know what kind of hacks he was using. Whatever it was it was pretty bad.

I've tried them out in private servers with teammates, who knew I had them on, just to see it was all about. Everyone on my old team eventually tried them privately, as it helped to spot cheaters much easily. The closest type of hack to what you're talking about, would be speedhack, but it couldn't do what you described. Try starting a server on lan with speedhack loaded, it's fun, triples the server speed for everyone.

And if you're going to call me an idiot, atleast say "you're" and not "your".

No, there aren't. Find me one. There were some brutal cheats in the betas but now they've been limited to aimbot, graphical cheats, and the occasional speedhack.

it could be the admin teleporting other players.

Right on, I like the new onslaught mode, but UT has always gotten just a little repetetive.
