also good that steam/cs 1.6b is only available to those willing to support the community by donating money toward it.

servers and their connections are expensive. bandwidth on popular sites is expensive. making and running a website is time consuming and stressful.



If a site has content on it that you will find useful and charges for it, what's wrong with that? they're selling a service.

VALVe does stuff when I ask. They're really good to fansites, it's just that I don't ask for things too often.
