Here's a jolly new poll for all of you voting fans. How do you play on public servers? Do you try to follow objectives and work with your teammates, or do you just ignore everyone and play the latest Chemical Brothers song while wearing [mp3] in your name to have a handy excuse as to why you're dying so much?

Last week's poll was pretty close. My vote went for the mp5/armor, but I thought the "buy and pray" option would end higher. I was going to do it this week for CT with $4000, but I figured it would probably be the same answer. Check back next week for more sweet poll action!

hahha right now it says 51% follow team objectives. Its funny i never meet the 51% in game....or 5% for that matter....

LOL i dont care about the bomb much, i care about hosties cuz of the money. Usually i just touch the hosties for the $ then leave them...hahahah. Though sometimes when my team is getting raped, we do plant the bomb lol.

No one goes for the objective on pub servers. Anyone who says they go for the objectives, or helps out their team, is a liar. Unless they're scrimming with their clan on a pub server, or playing with clan members. There's exceptions to every rule.

there's no organisation on public servers but it often pans out that peoples actions help out the team



as long someone isn't camping at the spawn or tk'ing then they aren't really hurting the team



players follow objectives 'cos they know they'll get kills.



CTs will try to rescue the hossies, so Ts will camp by them, stay nearby, or go to an area they know the CTs have to pass through.



Ts will try to plant the bomb, so CTs protect the bomb site, etc.



obviously doesn't apply to all players, but i reckon the majority

Actually it's enforced on my server, you don't follow objective you're slain/kicked or banned.

Most people who are serious about CS and thus teamplay/objectives are smart enough to focus on clan play and not public servers.

im USUALLY nice and help team on pubs a.k.a. i often spend 30 minutes to teach n00bs how to play

I prefer team play, but I can't stand clans. I don't like scheduling times I want to play, I want to play whenever I want. In dust, half the time I'm the only person rushing to the bomb site to plant. It's better to just get some friend's and play on a regular basis, really.

When I'm playing with someone I know, I'll work together as a team, but when I'm just randomly playing on any server, I admittedly sometimes go out on my own, especially if my team is full of idiots who always sit around in a spot(terrorists outside the tunnel in dust2 comes to mind) and wait there until the other team shows up to completely massacre them from both sides. I just hate trying to make a plan and trying to carry it out, just to find out that once I died everyone else is sitting at spawn trying to make a 30-person high tower.

its hard becuase if you want to work as a team together, the other teammates do something dumb like camping at their spawn and not planting the bomb until there is 30 seconds left
