yeh and i like to seek through demos, and find the bits relevant to the reason for demoing, for example i have loads of footage of cheaters waiting to be submitted to the right peeps, problem is, No admin, wants to look through a 20 min demo for the bits relevant, and I dont want to sit there timing it all, It would be simple if there was a simple demo editer, so that you could chop and edit prior to getting it to avi format.



It would be nice if we had loads of supergrasses ready to pounce on any cheating bitch who ruins a game. A central admining commitee can view the demos, with various cheats installed and report to won dbase managers with their finidings.. But since cs is only going to be around a year or so max...(cs2 w00t) It is unlikely I suppose.

I think what strikes everyone as silly is that most software products are generally related to what they do. Microsoft Word writes text documents. Granted, Excel doesn't excel anything (er...), but it's had that name for 10+ years, so it passes the longevity test.



I guess in this case it'd be like if they named Excel "BillGatesSheet XP". Doesn't really do anything for the product, and doesn't denote a landmark in anything. Kinda like Anderson Consulting changing their name to Accenture (yes, I know, legally necessary, but bear with me). All the same, it's true - it's his program, he can do what he wants. However, that doesn't mean it's not silly to name it after whatever CS clan you're in or "managing" (aka cheerleading, not actually playing or doing) at the time. Imagine if funk tried this...would his program change names every week? *rim shot*



Anyhow, just fanning the flames with the fanboys.
