GeekPlayer Revamped, Named SKPlayer

Our favorite CS demo playing utility has been re-named and updated. GeekPlayer has been renamed to SKPlayer. Here is the list of changes:

• cstrike maps included by default.
  
  
• works in lower resolutions.
  
  
• better demo repair support.
  
  
• its still totally free

SKPlayer is a demo utility for Half-Life. It lets you browse and watch client recorded (or HLTV recored) demos with ease. With a GUI you will be able to see the information about the demo before playing it, such as an image of the map and player names. SKPlayer also offers customization to suit your needs with command line options, has special features such as a mini file browser, teamsay stripper, playback speed changer and support of the viewdemo GUI playback interface. It also works as a tool in creation of movies. Where it outputs BMP versions of the demo which you later can use in another program to create movies.

i like geekplayer/skplayer mainly because there is nothing else, and it's damn good too, so theres no real reason to use something else.

i dont even get the stupid program..it plays demos for you..makes movies...u can already do that without the program. what other *amazing* stuff does it do thats already built into cs?

i suppose it will be a matter of time before SK start charging for the use of the player or better yet, gayspy indu$trie$ will get their corporate hands on it and sell it along with their gayspy browser. gayspy also bought out Roger Wilco, which was FREE, now u have to pay for it. >

Wasn't the old version called "Geekplay" not "Geekplayer"?

geekplay, geekplayer, similar thing really. it was changed for cosmetic purposes, geekplayer sounds like it actually plays stuff. and geekplay just describes the action of playing.
