Why do you people care so damned much, it is just a name, none of you pay for it, and most likely none of you have been around long enough to support it when it was just starting.



It still plays demos, it still makes viewing them easier, and etc.

When you idiots have the capabilities to program anything remotely as useful as this demo player, you can mock him and call him a sellout. Sadly no one here, with possibly the exception of me, has done anything close to the amount of work for the community that bds has.

bds isn't even selling out, he's SK's manager... so he wanted to change the name of the player HE WROTE to the name of the clan HE MANAGES... big deal.

It doesn't do anything that the HL engine can't do except REPAIR DEMOS. A rather BIG addition.

if im not misstaken, it used to be called GeekPlay after his old clan GeekBoys, now hes in SK, so its SKplayer. No biggie.

Besides, his prog so he can call it what he wants, and plz tell me in what way it makes him a sellout.

Its a good prog, be thankfull instead of complain over stuff like this.

I think the thing that's tripping people up is, you know, why? I mean, you could change the name of this page to " Cock Station" and no one would really care, but it still wouldn't make much sense. The second stumbling block for several people happens to be the term "sellout", as they apparently see BDS getting rich and turning his back on the users of the program simply by changing the name.

hey, i never implied he was a sellout, not yet anyways :) when he sells geekplayer to GaySpy industries, then u could call him a sellout.
