I dont like the scout, Scout is horrible. You dont even see it used in tournaments. Why cant I have a dragonuv, or a scope on my colt again. Why cant the recoil on the sig and aug be the same in 1.3 WHY WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.? EWWWWWWWWWWWWHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?Comment

Because God probably hates you.
Regardless, I also went for the dualies, simply because knives, once within the kill range, are rather easy to score kills with. Dual beretta's have roughly the same effective range, and it's incredibly difficult to shoot enough shots from the dang things to result in a kill. If you could click fast enough, though, they're rather deadly at close range, ala POD-bot style shooting. I dunno anybody with that spastic of a trigger finger, though.
Also, getting primary-fire knifed is much more embarrasing than secondary-fire knifed.Comment

Dunno.
I hardly ever see anybody using the Duals, exept for myself,
and it doesn`t even raise a ruckus on the server if
someone actually kills something with them..
Knifing is definetly there, but like it was said, only if they get you in the back, cause then you were just careless.
When you knife someone in head-to-head combat it`s
embarrassing for BOTH players, cause (in most of the situations)
both of them wasted their primary AND secondary clips without
managing to kill the other guy. :/
(okay, that sucked but you know what I mean?)
Regardless, I ended up voting for the Glock.
Somehow just... felt like it :P
And [SWE]Tiggy.. nothing embarrassing in getting killed by a UMP.
It rocks.vARULF!! wrote..
Umm.. Isn`t it supposed to be the BOTH?
Cs is supposed to be fun, not realistic.
currently, I think CS is neither.
the realism is there, but there`s too many deatchmatch features
and the weapon balance is _OFF_
There, I said it. (okay, I`m gonna stfu now...)Comment

The duals suck. They.... um... suck
Its hard to knife someone but once you are behind them and in range, its almost impossible not to knife them. Therefor, the most embarrassing way to get killed must be if YOU are the knifer and the guy actually survives and shoots you with his AK.
I voted for the auto-snipers thought. They suck. Scout, however, ownz. Its accurate as hell (you don't have to wait 3 seconds to get it accurate and you don't have to crouch). I used it a lot but people kept calling me a lamer because i used a sniper in close combat and won (althought because its not easy to succeed in close combat with scout against an m4, I think it should be HIM that is called a lamer).
And not showing dead-tags on scoreboards is the worst idea ever.

How come everyone thinks USP is better at Glock? It has a reload time twise as long, it has almost no stopping power and its impossible to kill anything at long range!
Glock, however, is good at both close (burst fire) and long (normal fire) range and has a short reload time. It may not damage as much as the USP but that just means that we need to learn how to AIM for the VITAL spots of the players, like HEAD or UPPER CHEST.
Sorry for the capslock.Comment

Man, that Glock vs. USP rant was amusing to me. "AIM for the VITAL spots of the players" and such... as if you wouldn't also do that with a USP, and shot for shot kill them much faster, heh. And yes, the USP is much more effective and accurate at long range than the glock.
Quick tip: If everyone has come to the same conclusion, maybe they've got a reason for coming to it.Comment

Steam is deffinatly shaping up, and the game hasnt changed as much as everyone likes to cry about. I cant really say if its better or worse...its the evolution of CS.
Yeah im ashamed now cause i thought i would never ever like CS..and yet i was swayed after a few weeks of playing.Comment
