This week's poll deals with death. Which is the most embarrassing way to go out? I wouldn't answer Scout if I were you, since rizzuh will most likely ban you (the idiot named one of his cats after the gun). But hey, it's just a poll!

Last week's poll surprised me a little. While I figured those two would be at the top, I thought people would be more concerned with frags because public servers are a deathmatch mess. I voted for "DEAD tags" too, but I guess I'll just have to stop looking at the scoreboard every 30 seconds now. My TAB key thanks you, CS 1.6.

It's been over a month since Steam came out, and now that it's rolling along I thought we should revisit the Steam poll. How do you feel now? Although when it dies it takes the communtiy with it, I think it's really an excellent tool for just about everything. I'm very pleased with its progress. What about you?

I can't believe you put death by scout as a voting option. When will this world realize that the Scout is the superior form of sniper rifle? You people make me sick.

ya the scout is a decent gun. you can move with it and still fire accurately. Also it only takes 2 shots to bring someone down. With the improved mobility compared to the AWP...its really not that hard.

It has to be the knife, some smart-ass stabbing you in the back, its pretty embarrassing. But even worse is having a fire fright, winning and then fallen off something and killing yourself :/

Ah well the whole concept of not showing deaths is sound, and adds to the realism, if ure intelligence (espionage type , not just intellectual)isnt that good on the situation, u may know numbers, of enemy, but unless your team mates, are keeping an eye out fro the death notices, which do still appear and counting, u wont know how many are left, and hterefore the speed withthe finishing of a round crawls to a slow creepathon, rather than a last an on azzie, is a t and spawns clear, lets hunt him down, thru water, or fuind him at ct spawn, or whatever, u get my idea. SO thats the frustration, and the idea behind it.

Oh, and ifd rather die by scout than some lame ass 1 hit bs. Likewise knife takes great skill etc, glocked, at the end of a clip, now htats embarassing.

I don't see how the knife is always embarrassing. Yes having someone sneak up on you might be, but I wager 90% of the time a knife kill goes down like this. Guy with knife camps, baiting his 2 teammates. They run in around a corner, hurt you you kill them. As soon as they die a jackass that waited with a knife comes out and gets an easy 1 hit kill. The people that "knife" piss me off because to them their entire team is just some huge can of worms to pull and hurt their victims.
