Sonic Creator Yuji Naka Joins Square Enix

Yuji Naka, the creator behind the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog, has announced a new phase in his career today. Via Twitter, the developer stated that he has joined up with Square Enix.

What is he working on with them? Will he be doing anything other than being a simple "developer" there? Will we at long last get that Final Fantasy and Sonic crossover that fans have been dying for? These are all important questions that we simply do not have the answers to.

Maybe he'll tell us more in the months ahead. We wish him the best of luck at Square Enix.
