The fantastic Layers of Fear can be yours, for free, through the Humble Store. The 2016 horror game developed by Bloober Team is available alongside the game's soundtrack, also available for free.
You have just under two days to "purchase" the free Layers of Fear and soundtrack through the Humble Store. Once "purchased" the Humble Store will provide to you a Steam key for the game that will allow you to play it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you have all three of those operating systems, it's almost as if you're getting three games for free.
Layers of Fear is also available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbhox One. However, these two versions are not able to be "purchased" for free. A Switch version is coming soon and will include the rather lackluster Inheritance DLC with it. Delve deep into the mind of an insane painter and discover the secret of his madness, as you walk through a vast and constantly changing Victorian-era mansion. Uncover the visions, fears and horrors that entwine the painter and finish the masterpiece he has strived so long to create.

Soundtrack Features:
Composer Arkadiusz Reikowski, whose soundtracks perfectly manifest terror and fear, created the Layers of Fear soundtrack with two distinct parts: First the lyrical element, which represents the Painter’s wife, and second the dark, eerie, tones which capture the feeling of a mind slowly slipping toward insanity.
In addition to his composition for Layers of Fear, Arkadiusz is well known for his work with renowned Silent Hill singer Mary E. McGlynn on the title Kholat, and for his long time collaboration with Akira Yamaoka.
