  • E3 2017 Public Passes Sold Out

ESA's move to open up E3 2017 to the general public seems to have been a rather big success for them. The public tickets have now been totally sold out.

That's a rather impressive feat considering there were 15,000 passes available for the public. The first 1,000 tickets for three days were $149 (USD), with the remaining 14,000 going for $249. Business passes are still apparently available for a mere $995. The announcement was made on the official E3 Twitter earlier today.

It's probably a good thing that ESA went the route that they did with the public passes. General interest and attendance seems to have been on the decline for the past few years now. Some publishers and developers, such as EA and Bethesda, have even opted to hold their own conferences outside of the E3 venue.

E3 2017 runs from June 13-17. I can't tell for sure, but I'm guessing there's going to be some video games shown at this year's event.
