On March 3, Sony Europe is going to drop the price of the PlayStation 4 down to just €199.99. That is about $210 (USD) for those of us in the States.
This news started out earlier today as a mere rumor but it seems as though the PlayStation Italy Twitter confirmed it a few hours ago.
That's some mighty fine competitive ribbing there towards Nintendo from PlayStation Italy. Of course, we don't know if this price drop is permanent or if it's a temporary move to counter the release of the Switch. There is also no word on whether or not price drops will hit other regions.
