The forums on Dota 2's official website have reportedly been hacked. These are not the Dota 2 sections on the Steam Community but the forums hosted separately on Dota2.com. The hack reportedly happened on July 10.
This was revealed by Leaked Source that released their findings to the public earlier today. The information obtained includes emails and the very weak MD5 encryption on passwords. After changing your passwords, you can remove yourself from the Leaked Source database without much issue.
I share this here just in case you have used the Dota 2 forums at any point in the past and have a tendency to reuse passwords at other locations, such as on Steam. If you think you might have, time to change those passwords. Also, maybe it's time to think about getting a password manager so that you never again reuse passwords?
