If you have PlayStation Plus and didn't grab the PS+ version of Driveclub, you should do so before October 6. On that date, it will go away forever but the paid version will still be around.
According to Sony, the free version of the game will no longer be available. Why? I don't know.
People are inexplicably upset over this for reasons that baffle and confuse me. It was not the full version of the game that was available for free, only the (often delayed) stripped down PlayStation Plus version of the game. It was up for roughly four months as a free offering.
