Five Nights at Freddy's Might Become a Movie

For reasons outside of my comprehension, Warner Bros. has picked up the movie rights to Five Nights at Freddy's. Yes, the game series created by Scott Cawthon, that had three mainline titles released in roughly a year's time, could one day scare you on the big screen.

The film will allegedly be produced by Roy Lee from Vertigo Entertainment alongside Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg from KatzSmith Productions. Adam Stone and Jay Ireland will serve as Executive Producers.

“We’re looking forward to working with Scott to make an insane, terrifying and weirdly adorable movie,” said Grahame-Smith.

"The story really lends itself to being a movie and it taps into a largely unexplored niche of horror that a lot of people will be able to relate to," said Cawthon.
