Mewtwo was confirmed as coming to Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS on April 28. Lucas from the EarthBound series, will appear in the game at some point in June.
Mewtwo will go for $3.99 (USD) for one version on April 28 or $4.99 for both versions. Club Nintendo members that registered their games before yesterday will receive a download code o n April 15 to get Mewtwo two weeks ahead of everyone else. Mewtwo will also be released alongside the 1.0.6 patch that adds compatibility with the new character, sharing functionality, and includes some character balances.
There is also some new cosmetic DLC coming to the game. This includes outfits like the Super Mario 3D World cat suits, Mega Man armor for your Mii, and other costumes from games like The Legend of Zelda, Xenoblade, and more. The first costumes will be out on April 15. You can buy one version of one outfit for $0.75 or $1.15 for both versions of a costume. Or, you can buy a full bundle of one costume for $6 or buy the full bundle with both costume variants for $9.20.
