Crytek Signs a 'Huge' Deal with a Mystery Firm

It's a mystery! The mystery being just who Crytek signed a "huge" licensing deal with, that is. Crytek revealed that they have found a company that will help the development studio financially but the company in question has not yet been named.

The head of PR for Crytek, Jens Schaefer, and Crytek Co-Founder Faruk Yerli made the following remarks about the deal.

“A lot of people are under the impression we had to find a new investor or something, but that wasn’t the case. We made a licensing deal,” said Schaefer.

Yerli added: “It was a huge one, probably the biggest one. I can’t say anything more in detail, but hopefully we’ll be able to announce it with the partner soon.”

As noted, the full details about the reveal, or at the very least a name for the mystery company, will be revealed "soon."
