Sony Online Entertainment is joining up with countless other individuals and groups that will be participating in a 24-hour long gaming marathon for Extra-Life. It's a charity drive that will see all donations from all participants going to the Children's Miracle Network charity.
If you don't want to donate towards SOE, feel free to donate towards any of the other participants of Extra-Life.
This October 25th, the team at Sony Online Entertainment is joining forces with thousands of gamers across the globe to help raise funds for Extra-Life's annual 24-hour gaming marathon. With the help of the gaming community, SOE's goal is to raise $50,000 for the Children's Miracle Network charity.
Last year, Extra-Life raised more than 4 million dollars to help battle serious ailments like cancer and cystic fibrosis, and SOE is set to help them take that number even higher.
Those wishing to help out can do so in one of two ways:
• Join Team SOE Play it Forward, either individually or as a group, to raise money by taking on the 24-hour challenge directly at: http://www.extra-life.org/team/soe
• Or, sponsor the SOE team directly, as they "play it forward" and game for 24-hours straight, by donating here.
