New Gameplay Details for Resident Evil Revelations 2

Some new gameplay details for Resident Evil Revelations 2 have started to surface on the web thanks to the November issue of Gamesmaster Magazine.

• Claire Redfield is back as the lead.
• Claire is joined by Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton.
• The campaign can be played by yourself or with a co-op partner.
• Claire is more combat focused.
• Moira is more focused on support (healing, flashlight, supplying Claire with items).
• Claire's death is the only one that will result in a Game Over scenario.
• The story is again set on an island (poor Claire) detention facility. It begins after Claire and Moira are abducted.
• The story takes place between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.
• Gameplay will be much closer to survival horror than Resident Evil 5/6.
• There is a new Afflicted enemy. They look like zombies but are "something quite different."
• Afflicted are fast and can dish out a lot of damage.
• PC and current-gen versions are said to run at 1080p and 60fps.
