Steam Controller Drops Touchscreen and Adds Buttons

A new look for the Steam Controller is coming. Shown off during the start of their Steam Dev Days, Valve showed off a redesign for the controller that ditches the touchscreen interface and adds physical buttons to the front.

The buttons look to simulate a d-pad like design in addition to the "standard" lineup of A/B/X/Y buttons on the right. If it falls in line with previous design elements, all of those buttons are probably going to be customized to do anything.
