As you may be aware, unless you're in a cryo-chamber waiting until Tuesday, the street date for the highly anticipated title was broken by a number of stores and retailers around the world. Mom & Pop stores have broken the street date. Even Amazon got in on the date breaking festivities by shipping copies to gamers as early as this past Friday.
Rockstar doesn't seem too pleased about this and are taking action. They issued a statement to GI.biz saying that they "are in the process of investigating early 'sales' to determine how and why that is occurring."
