Man, why does Japan always get the cool hardware releases? Sony announced last night that Japan will be getting a new PlayStation Vita model. The new model will not only feature six different colors, but it will also be 20% thinner and lighter than the current model.
The device will be available in pink, yellow, a blueish-grey, white, brown, and black. It will include 1GB of built-in storage and the battery will reportedly last an hour longer than the current model. Not only that, but the new device will also go with an LCD screen instead of the AMOLED one present on current models, which isn't making some consumers too happy.
If you live in Japan, you can pick one of these colorful devices up on October 10 for 18,980 yen (about $190 USD).
