In a move that will surely never backfire on them (especially for single-player games), EA is now offering gamers the "Origin Great Game Guarantee." This new guarantee says that all gamers can "return" their digital purchase on Origin within 24-hours of first launching it for a full refund.
Beyond that, you have upwards of seven days from the date of purchase to get a full refund, provided you did not launch the game in that span of time until the 24-hours prior to your refund request. In fact, the only major restrictions to this plan are that the games have to be first-party EA titles and that DLC is excluded from refund eligibility.
You can read more about it over at the EA help center. There is a handy FAQ that will probably answer all of your burning questions about the program.
