Over 11 Minutes of Dying Light Footage

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Techland have released a great gameplay video for Dying Light today. The video showcases 11 minutes of gameplay in the Dead Island meets parkour running next-gen title.

In the 11-minute video, players get a look at daytime in the vast and dangerous world of Dying Light. During the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment that has been overrun by a vicious outbreak, and must scavenge the world for supplies and craft weapons in order to defend themselves from the growing infected population. If players find themselves overwhelmed by infected, they'll have to choose between fight or flight. Thankfully they¹ll be able to run seamlessly around the world‹from the rooftops to the ground, and everywhere in between‹with the game's free-running movement. Every choice in Dying Light has different consequences. What will you do?

I don't know about you guys, but this is looking good. It's made by most of the team that worked on the first Dead Island (not the one that worked on Dead Island: Riptide) and is due out in 2014 for the PC, PS3, PS4, 360, and XBone.

I enjoyed (more or less) the first Dead Island. The game had it's bunch of problems and was only truly shined when playing coop with friends, because otherwhise it was quite boring.
This one is looking really good, yeah. You can see they are using the same base combat but it seems to have been updated a lot. The movement looks and seems to feel great just like mirrors edge. I just can't wait to see how the animations play out from the other peoples prespectives since there will be a 4 player coop, which will also most likely be the best part of this game.
