Payday 2 Slated to be Released on August 13

Largely up in the air until earlier today, the release date for Payday 2 is now officially slated for August 13. This release date is for the PC version on Steam, with other platforms following suit between the 13th and 16th.

PAYDAY 2 will be out on Steam on August 13th. The other platforms will follow suit and be out between the 13th and the 16th.

A big thank you to our PAYDAY community, to everyone who has helped us beta test the game so far and posted messages online, sent us feedback and told us how much you appreciate our work. We salute you.

The beta is still underway for the game with some rather extensive updates already coming out over the past few weeks.

Two ways actually. Either get the Career Criminal Edition which comes with beta access and a bunch of bonus stuff for $50. Or find a friend that has a spare invite since the Career Criminal Edition comes with a bonus beta invite that you can give to friends.
