    HD Remakes of Homeworld and Homeworld 2 Coming from Gearbox

    Gearbox is wasting no time making good use of the freshly acquired rights to the Homeworld IP. The company announced that high-definition remakes of the classic Relic Entertainment series will be coming to the PC.

    Gearbox revealed this tasty information during their PAX Australia a short time ago today (even though it's already the middle of the evening on the 20th there as I'm posting this). Timezones, man, how do they work!

    This news follows the $1.35 million acquisition of the Homeworld IP back in April when THQ started to liquidate their assets. In addition to these HD remakes, the company says that they will also release the original two games through digital distribution platforms.
